I was born as Christopher Hunt Schiffhauer and grew up in Boardman, Ohio. When I finished high school, I alternated between studying variously in France and at BGSU. After college, I moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where I met my lovely wife Sharon and have been working as a website development consultant.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is working with the University of Havana to allow students to study abroad in Cuba. Evelyne Huber, director of UNC's Institute of Latin American Studies, says that Cuba is in a transition phase due to Fidel Castro's age and brings up the interesting question of whether his eventual passing will lead to a peaceful or violent transfer of power.
